Hawzah News Agency –Speaking on Tuesday afternoon in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the 10-day Fajr celebration and said, "These days also coincide with the third anniversary of the Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution, which is one of the most important documents for transformation".
The President added, "The Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution is a comprehensive document for the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, the government and all bodies in the Islamic Republic and all transformational measures must be based on it".
Stating that the Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution has carefully and at various levels explained what we should be done in the second 40 years of the Revolution, he said, "This document, at the first level, presents a clear vision to shape the new Islamic civilisation".
The President stated, "This document, in the second level, carefully explains the macro-policies of the system in the field of independence, freedom, national dignity, lifestyle, justice, fight against corruption, economy, science, research and other areas that are the axes of change in society".
Ayatollah Raisi pointed out, "In the Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution, the existing reality is well explained and the necessary strategies and measures to reach the peaks of the new Islamic civilisation and a society free of corruption and destruction are precisely described".
Pointing out that this statement at the third level, in addition to explaining general policies, also pays attention to the management, motives and jihadist movement in implementation, the President said, "In the fourth level, it explains the discursive confrontation between Islam and the Arrogance and justice and corruption".
Dr Raisi added, "Today, the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, as a supreme institution, has been given the responsibility for the implementation of this document, and we, the members of the council, have a duty first to create change in the council based on this document and then to monitor its proper implementation".
The President stated that the document of transformation of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution has been sent to the Supreme Leader, stating, "The important mission of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution will be to work towards achieving the implementation of this document of transformation".
The President noted, "In these years, great work has been done in some areas, which is a source of pride, and on the other hand, in some areas, we have backlogs that must be addressed".
Dr Raisi said, "Today, considering the cultural ambush of the enemy, we all have a duty to jihad to preserve the culture and values of the Islamic Revolution, and in this direction, the Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution illuminates the way for us".
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution also expressed his condolences on the demise of Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani to the Supreme Leader, seminaries, clerics and maraji, members of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution and all Iranian people".
